This high-level dialogue aims to explore opportunities and safeguards for integrating Artificial Intelligence within Africa's regulatory ecosystem for medical products. Building on insights from AI pilot projects conducted by African NRAs with the support of the Gates Foundation support, the session will focus on how AI can enhance regulatory efficiency, enable data-driven decision-making, and ensure ethical and transparent adoption of digital technologies across the continent.
